THERMAL STORES AND LINK UP SYSTEMS

Thermal stores are simply a cylinder that combines various renewable heat sources, such as a pellet boiler and a wood burning boiler stove, to provide all the heating and hot water requirements for your property. They can efficiently combine low heat sources such as air source heat pump and low heat emitters such as under floor heating with high temperature sources, wood stove, and high heat emitters like radiators. Inputs can include fossil fuel boilers, (gas, oil, etc.) pellet boilers, heat pumps, solar thermal and wood burning stoves with back boilers with underfloor heating, radiators, towel rails. Also installing a thermal store is a good way to future proof your heating needs as different technologies can be added at a later stage.

ACCUMULATORS, BUFFERS AND LOW LOSS HEADERS

Like thermal stores these all serve as hydraulic separation from the heat source and heating/ hot water requirements. Installing either a buffer, low loss header or accumulator allows heat to be stored meaning your central heating system will not over work your boiler offering a more balanced and efficient heating system.

H2 PANEL

One of the simplest and cost effective way of combining a wood burning stove boiler with your existing heating and hot water cylinder. We often use these when adding a wood stove to existing gas/ oil boilers.

HEATING MANIFOLD

Heating manifolds again enable us to link up multiply heating sources to your heating and hot water circuits. These require less space and can be less expensive to install. We have installed and used different manifolds including Systemzone, NRG Zone and Dunsley Heat’s Neutralizer.

An area we really enjoy and excel at is combining different heat sources and technologies to provide the most efficient and effective way of providing heating and hot water into your home.
